2010 Ann Miles Total Joint Office Nurse Fellowship Recipient

The Fellowship is offered to a NAON member currently practicing in an orthopaedic surgeon's office or who is an orthopaedic nurse and interested in becoming an office nurse. Through this Fellowship the recipient receives exposure to a specialty total joint office practice; two days are spent in the office setting and one day in the hospital setting, including the operating room at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, Los Angeles, California. The Fellowship also provides for attendance at NAON's Annual Congress in Seattle.
This outstanding educational opportunity was established to honor Ann Miles, RN, a NAON member, NAON Office SIG member, and an avid patient advocate. The Fellowship is funded by Brigitte Failner and her nursing colleagues at Cedar Sinai Medical Center, Orthopaedics.
